With this great add on (included in Productivity Suite), Daylite users are able to fully exploit the sophistication of Apple Mail and Daylite's powerful multi-linking capabilities. You can tie one or more emails to several contacts, projects and opportunities all at the same time - giving you rich History.
Store email content inside Daylite
Unlike other systems that 'point' to emails within Apple Mail (defeating the whole concept of email history within a multi-user environment, because one User cannot access another Users Inbox), DMI actually stores the Contents of the email in Daylite's powerful database. By doing so, you never lose the historical value of the email and any user on the local or remote network can view the contents of that email.
Leverage Apple Mail
A great number of our customers have asked for some kind of email integration. We could have created a Mail client built into Daylite, but why re-invent the wheel and Play catch-up on the features? With our current strategy, you can:
* Send and Receive emails using POP, iMap, .mac and Exchange
* Leverage the Junk Mail filter, within Apple Mail, and be confident that irrelevant emails don't make their way into Daylite
* Receive HTML emails and send them to Daylite as rich text
* Utilize the many other great features available to you in Apple Mail
Work from within Apple Mail
When an email is received, DMI will identify the associated contacts (showing the related category/keywords), open opportunities and/or projects linked to those contacts right from within Apple Mail. You can double-click the contact to open the record in Daylite showing you the full detail and history. You can also trigger the creation of linked projects, opportunities, appointments and tasks from within Apple Mail.
